Mission: The center for photographic art nurtures the personal growth inherent in art making and celebrates the artists' creative contribution to the community.
Programs: Gallery - photographic art gallery presenting seven exhibitions in 2014. Exhibitions include the work of local, regional and national photographic artists. In 2014 there were seven exhibitions featuring the works of esmeralda ruiz, ben nixon, cara barer, mary ellen bartley, betty hahn, shannon jensen, david julian, brian taylor, shelby graham, binh danh, and jane lindsay, international juried exhibit, 8x10 fundraising exhibit, exhibit from local private collections. Every exhibit, with the exception of 8x10 and ije, has an accompanying lecture or panel discussion, all of which were free to the members and the general public.
workshops - six workshops were conducted: 2014 pie labs that focused on assisting artists from all fields on finding their authentic artistic voices; night of photography; zen and the art of photography; portraits; digital image transfer; an art of your own - extending the perfect print. A total of 75 people attended the workshops in 2014.
publications - catalogs were published for four exhibitions in 2014. In addition there was a catalog published to accompany the international juried exhibition featuring the photographs by fifty-one photographers from around the world. Publications were sold in the gallery and online.
