Mission: Vision: We uphold a vision for the future where individuals with disabilities have access to all opportunities of a full life. Mission: We form innovative partnerships to create product and service models that give individuals with disabilities and their families the skills and opportunities to realize a full life. Center for Independent Futures is a not-for-profit organization that helps individuals with disabilities and their families access the skills and opportunities to realize full lives. We provide best practice models for assessment, person-centered planning, goal and action plan tracking, and life skill training. We work directly with individuals in the Chicagoland area, or provide training on our models to schools, human service agencies or family groups across the country.
Programs: Bring families and community resources together to create sustainable supported community living options by combining existing public and private resources. Created first supported living arrangements in the area.
