CIBD is a place for children and adults can go to for their rare, chronic blood disorders. The fact that it is now a community clinic has made it so much more accessible. As a provider, I am able to readily refer patients to CIBD and they can be seen immediately. This is rare for subspeciality clinics, where it can take months to get an appointment for clinics affiliated with a hospital. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and they bring in their entire comprehensive team to see every patient- Physician, Nurse, Social Worker, Physical Therapist, Pyschologist and Pharmacist. They take care of every need at the visit. We are ecstatic to have CIBD available for our patients with blood disorders!

Programs: The center for comprehensive care and diagnostics of inherited blood disorders (cibd) is a community based clinic that provides comprehensive care for children and adults with rare, chronic inherited blood disorders utilizing the comprehensive care model. As a safety net clinic, cibd provides increased access to subspecialty care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Through pharmacy services and innovative health information technology, cibd is able to educate patients and families as well as monitor and drive down cost of care through the 340b program.
