Mission: CCL partners with those held back by a lack of resource and economic opportunity in order to uncover possibilities, overcome barriers, and realize their potential. CCL partners by (1) coaching on financial, employment and resource mobilization goals that enhance lives, (2) training and educating on coaching, capacity building, financial and workforce topics, and (3) coalition building, advocating and organizing for policy and practices that open up opportunities and resources.
Results: Between January 1, 2016 and June 30, 2016, 401 heads of households have been served. Of the 347 who received two or three integrated services, 63% achieved a key financial outcome:
• 37 people increased their net income
• 119 people increased their net worth
• 138 people increased their credit score
Target demographics: those experiencing a housing or financial hardship, including homelessness,
Direct beneficiaries per year: 417 people through one on one coaching. Of these, 368 people received integrated financial services and, of these, 65% improved their financial position. These changes are indicative of employment, opportunities to rent, own or open utilities, and freedom from debt and liability that further claims their income.
