This is a very troubling organization. It is suspiciously unclear how they relate to the AIA Chapter's in San Francisco. It appears to simply serve as the 501c3 enabled fundraising arm for the AIA, a 501c6 membership organization. It also appears that both organizations share the exact same staff, thus yielding it's nonprofit status when it's fiscally advantageous. In any case, this organization's practices seem quite out line with current best practices in nonprofit management. I would encourage those interested in supporting their work to refrain and for entities such as the IRS to take a peek.
