Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Equestrian, Human Services, Sports
Mission: Centaur Stride Therapeutic Riding Facility is a therapeutic and recreational facility that is inclusive, integrated for people with and without disabilities, and founded on the healing power of horses and nature to enhance overall well-being of mind and body.
Target demographics: bring in inclusive and integrated setting for people with and without disabilities to enjoy horses and the great outdoors
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2024, we had 1100+ Lessons with 50+ new riders and 100+ returning riders.
Geographic areas served: Sherman, NY and provide services in Chautauqua County and the surrounding areas
Programs: therapeutic horseback riding lessons, field trips, volunteer services, service learning and more to individuals with and without disabilities to improve physical, mental, and overall well-being.
