I became aware of this Sanctuary through Facebook a few weeks ago. Once I heard all of these heartbreaking, but amazing stories, I took it upon myself to help as much as I can.
Gabi, the founder, is an amazing woman with a heart of gold. Her two sons work tirelessly to help her. She takes in special needs and senior cats and dogs. She also has 7 cats from domestic violence situations that she is fostering until the owners are in a safe situation to take them back.
Gabi has several very sick cats that she provides medications for. She also has at least 4 that have spinal issues. Chantelle for example was shot in the neck, chest, and back and was paralyzed. She was found dragging her kittens to safety and was going to be put down until Cats And Dogs Forever flew to FL and brought her to her forever home withe them. Chantelle is one of several cats that Gabi has to manually help empty their bladders and bowels several times a day.
I am currently in the process of teaching them to raw feed the very sick ones to try to reverse their health issues. It has only been a week but they are already seeing a difference.
Their sanctuary has lost funding and volunteers since covid. They are in need of any donations of diapers, meat, medications, money.... but are even grateful if you could donate your time or share this post to help.
