I asked an apologist a question. Either they completely could not comprehend my question, or they did not read it. Canned answers. Not very Impressive. No wonder Catholics don’t know their faith. The Church doesn’t teach it. Pray, pay, obey. Don’t ask questions. They don’t have answers.

I don't typically like writing reviews but I felt like I should in this case. I have been very thankful to Catholic Answers for the many great resources they provide. I personally appreciate their podcasts and love their resources on talking with Atheists and Abortionists. Those issues are very challenging to talk about and I've found they have some of the best resources out there.

Our experience with Catholic Answers has always been excellent. The Catholic Answers Magazine is a wonderful product, full of excellent articles on today's topics and very useful to keep.

I went though a hard transition in my life which also included a new highly stressful job. Listening to the podcast verson of Catholic Answers Live became my daily routine and really helped uplift my days. I also find myself more educated about the Catholic faith then I ever thought I could be. When others ask me questions about the faith, I am more able to answer and have a fruitful conversation.

Catholic Answers gives Catholics a forum to learn, discuss, and share information about the faith in a positive way. The shows and information provided are varied and cover an array of topics from current events to ancient church history. Listeners can feel safe that the speakers and apologists they hear have the best interest of the public in mind. Most importantly, the priority of Catholic Answers is to seek the truth and help as many people as possible to do likewise.

I know multiple people who attribute a heavy part of their conversions to Catholicism to Catholic Answers. The people are holy, approachable, honest, and inspiring.

Catholic Answers (specifically the website) is one of the first places I go to when I have a question about Catholicism, especially in areas regarding ethics or morality. There is such a wealth of information on various topics that I often find myself reading more than I initially intend to when visiting the Catholic Answers website. It is a resource that I would recommend and have recommended in the past.

It's a good website for all things catholic, where catholic and non catholic people can find answers to their questions in understandable language suited for us mere mortals. Very well prepared and faithful staff.

Catholic Answers does a tremendous job on explaining the beauty and the truth of our faith. I love how every show is different and that they bring in different apologists and guests to speak about the faith. They provide a variety a topics for each show and provide resources such as literature, prayers, and etc. pertaining to the topic for that day. Catholic Answers has been beneficial towards my faith journey.

I utilize the resources of Catholic Answers on a daily basis to answer all of my questions on the Catholic Faith and other questions of great importance. Resources include their radio program, podcasts, videos, CDs, books, and a crew of very effective apologists that can answer any of my questions via email or telephone.

Since discovering Catholic Answers several years ago I feel like I've found the most complete source for learning more about my faith.

Catholic Answers is a great organization. It was a large part of my reversion to the Catholic faith.

I have written one review on Catholic Answers already but I though that I need to respond to a review by CatholicDonor that is spurious at best. You give your opinion of a wage disparity that is very dubious. Mr. Keating did indeed EARN the salary you mention but it is a very appropriate amount for an executive of his caliber working in SOCAL. Then when you also consider that he has dedicated a better part of his life to what most people agree is one of the very best Catholic lay apostolic organizations around, your opinion look s more like envy than anything else. I have been blessed by the opportunity to attend one of their cruises, attended one of their conferences and I can't get enough of the wonderful materials, radio shows, and podcasts that they provide. I have also been blessed to know some of those non-executive staff you mention. I have no idea what they make. What I do know is that the ones I have met love their job, feel a great blessing to be a part of that apostolate, and are joyful, loving Christians. You claim to be an expert in this field. You did not use your name. You have not written any other reviews on any other organizations. I am going to pray that the resentment you are feeling about CA is replaced by joy and love which is given freely by our Lord and Savior.

The top people in this organization take home huge salaries (Keating made 254k in 2014), while the often very well-qualified non-executive staff do not even make a living wage. Their fundraising events (cruises, conferences, galas) raise only 1.8% of their contributions while consuming at least 15% of their man-hours. Charity Navigators rates them 1 of 4 stars for accountability and transparency: charity navigator dot org.

I stumbled upon Catholic Answers many years ago when I made a conscious decision to take my Catholic faith seriously as a young adult in my 20's. I knew the basic foundations from my years of Catholic education, but I could not explain why I believed what I was supposed to believe. In the years since, I've relied on the work of Catholic Answers (radio show, blogs, books, magazine, speaker series, etc) to help me put into words and explain why we as Catholics believe what we do. It has helped me better share the faith with my friends and family; it has helped me have a stronger appreciation for prayer, scripture, and the celebration of the Mass; and it has led me to prioritize my own relationship with God so that I can speak with Him rather than simply about Him. Catholic Answers has helped me to see how universally big the Catholic family is, yet how connected and small of a world it can be.

I cannot tell you loudly enough or strongly enough what a blessing Catholic Answers has been for me personally as a Catholic Jail Chaplain. As you can well imagine I get a lot of questions about the Catholic faith from inmates of all ages, ethnicities, education levels. Catholic Answers has been so generous in supporting my ministry to the incarcerated population who are seeking Christ in the darkness of their cells. They struggle with so many challenges not only to them personally, but to their faith. When I show up with materials provided by Catholic Answers ... Oh My, they cannot wait, its like Christmas and before long the silence of prayerful reflection is deafening, then the Chaos of what do you have? Can we share? Then its bible study in small groups ... Christ centered incarceration. No, jail is not pleasant, but with Christ present, lives change, hearts change, attitudes change. Have you ever witnessed 100 inmates holding hands, tears rolling down their cheeks, praying for each other and their intentions, all because catholic answers provides me and my fellow chaplains with resources to teach the truth. Its powerful, it is watching the Holy Spirit show up and take over. Thank You Catholic Answers for supporting this ministry. Abundant Blessings!!

I have used many Catholic Answers resources including Pod-casts of their radio program, information tracts, books, Catholic Answers Magazine, and Catholic Answers Forums. I find all of the information provided by Catholic Answers to be top notch, well researched and free of the political spin that can be out there. This charity gives a legitimate forum to people of good will who want to learn and understand the teaching of the Catholic Church and they provide most of their resources absolutely free of charge. For example I ride my bike and commute to work in my car while listening to the podcast of Catholic Answers Live and have done so since 2009 and the information and programming has just gotten better and better and it is absolutely free to download from iTunes.

I love to listen to Catholic Answers when it is on my local Catholic Radio station. The Guests and moderators are top notch and their fidelity to the Church is a source of comfort. I am drawn closer to God and have a relationship with out Lady and our Lord because of the content I find on Catholic radio. Thanks for all you do for people of our shared faith, those that are seeking truth, or those who are returning because of the work you do.

I have consumed Catholic Answers resources for years, both while in England and the USA. This includes podcasts and CDs, as well as through their online forums. They have taught me out to defend the Catholic Faith and dialogue respectfully and constructively with those with whom I disagree.

Catholic Answers has been an invaluable resource for me. I have listened to every Podcast for the past seventeen months. Their Radio Show, Website, and Apologist Line have helped me learn the truth about the Catholic Faith and the Churches teaching, helped me draw closer to and have a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, and have equipped me to better share the Catholic Faith in my ministry and evangelism. Catholic Answers is a trusted source for all things pertaining to the Catholic faith. What a tremendous resource! I recommend CA to anyone who has an interest in hearing the Truth.

I used to think I needed all the information to defend my faith and with Catholic Answers I get that but I get something more deep and profound which is the truth through Coffin and Akin at Catholic Answers. In my opinion, any believer or non-believer should take interest to CA live.

I just returned from the Catholic Answers "Defending the Faith" conference in San Diego. What a treat to meet some of the wonderful people I listen to daily on the radio, especially Jimmy Akin! Arch Bishop Sample from Portland OR was the Keynote speaker and his talk was POWERFUL! The weekend was rich and rewarding and I am so glad for the Catholic Answers apostolate and the great work they do.
