This charity lives up to its mission. It supports catechists with formation courses and continuing formation opportunities. It offers parent pages to aid parents in learning about the spiritual capacities and needs of their children. It offers podcasts to inform the wider community of the religious capacity of children and even how children are helping adults in seeing the face of God. It has opened my eyes to the religious capacity of children starting from birth. After being supported as a catechist for 18 years, it supported me as I became a leader in forming other adults in the method. After 21 years of being supported I decided to run for a position on the Board of Trustees and give back. As a member of the finance committee, I look over the financial reports and feel confident that any donation I give is going to be used properly. I frequently hear from church leaders of various denominations that Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is giving them hope for the church.
