The Castle Rock Senior Center has a monthly planning guide that CANNOT be matched. There are multiple activities EVERY day. PLUS the Senior Shuttle ride program that operated Monday thru Friday: shopping, doctor visits, prescription p/u, trips to the Senior Center for activities. In addition, the Center has (3) 14 seat mini buses for activities: shows, restaurants, special tours and events (ex. National Western Stock Show). I do not know of another Senior Center that comes close to matching Castle Rock !!!!!

The Castle Rock Senior Center offers so many programs, trips, VOA lunches, potluck lunches, and other opportunities. They have an extensive Senior Ride program that takes Seniors to / from the Center, to doctor appointments, to grocery and retail shopping. They also provide Senior 'protection' programs: coffee with a cop, current scam lectures, etc. The CR Senior Center is a very valuable resource in the local community. I am proud to be both a Senior and a Volunteer for the organization.

I have been involved with the Castle Rock Senior Venter since I retired in 2009. I have seen first hand how they have brighten the lives of seniors with transportation needs, activities and just plain old friendship.
A great place to be a part of.

I have been involved at CRSAC since shortly after I moved to this fair city. Early in 2015 I began volunteering as a shuttle driver then as a bus driver for events. The staff, to a person, really care for their members and work hard to make sure there are many events for them to enjoy from cards, to bingo, to out-to-lunches, out-to-dinners, mystery trips, movies, reflexology, chair massage, BP checks, even drama classes and many others. They are always open to suggestions from members of places to go, things to see and experience. I'm very proud to be a volunteer and very happy to be a member. This is one outstanding organization.

I moved to an apartment Castle Rock in Oct 14 from TX where I was active in several things besides my small acreage where I gardened, mowed, built stuff and generally stayed active and busy. My daughter knew I'd need something to do with my time. She suggested volunteering as a driver for the "Senior Center. Was the best move I could have made. As a volunteer driver I drive shuttle cars that pick up seniors who need rides, buses to events such as dinners, lunches, plays, etc, and specials to take seniors to doctor appointments in the Denver area.
In the last 2.5 yrs I have observed just how much the staff and volunteers care for the seniors of this area. They go to the ultimate to make everyone welcome and to find and attempt to care for the needs of their members.
I have come to know the staff on a personal level and call each of them "friend". I also call myself friend with many of the volunteers and drivers. To a person they are caring and considerate of those they help.
The CRSAC is a prime example of an organization run efficiently but with heart. I'm proud to be associated with it and the people involved. I can say without hesitation that I get much more than I give.

I joined the Castle Rock Senior Center about 15 months ago as a volunteer driver. They provide so many numerous services, activities, and support to all their members above and beyond anyone's expectations. Their commitment to the delivery of Seniors to and from medical appointments, many various activities within the Senior Center, many visits to various restaurants in our surrounding areas, Colorado Springs and Denver, as well as trips to various casinos both in Cripple Creek and Black Hawk, trips to Wildlife Sanctuaries, historical sites, etc., etc. I truly believe the CRSC staff and all their volunteers are very dedicated in making sure that "Loving Life in the Second Half" is their goal for all their members.

My elderly mother is a member, and it really helps to keep her busy and to make new friends. They always have something going on over there, from simple games to wonderful outings, lunches and even dinners dining out they also have all kinds of crafts, workouts, and specialty events.

The people at the Castle Rock Center Center - both staff and seniors - are among the friendliest that you could ever wish to be around! I've been a member for about 10 years and participate in their Senior sporting activities (softball and golf). Those would not be possible if it wasn't for the support given from the Center. If you live in Castle Rock, please come check it out - there is a place for you!

The Castle Rock Senior Center continues to provide services, to the senior community in Castle Rock (1,000+ now), that include:

-new adventures
-rides in a Senior Center owned car, and/or bus, for field trips, medical, grocery, etc.
-ongoing learning opportunities
-lunches that are served 3 times per week
-plus many activities that provide an environment to easily make new friends and socialize with existing friends.

The seniors are consistently treated as friends and with respect by the staff and are given many opportunities to volunteer for other seniors and the community. Any opportunity to care for the seniors is at the top of the Senior Center list of values and goals.

I highly recommend this to all of my friends that are considering becoming a member.
