Cascade County Humane Society, also known as Humane Society of Cascade County (HSCC) has existed since the 1970s. For many years it had a contract to run the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter; however, since 2007 HSCC has been independent of the City, and donors should be aware that contributions to HSCC don't go to the City shelter. HSCC's greatest strength now is its sponsorship of spay/neuter clinics for pets of low-income people.

Mission: Animals are rescued, fostered and cared for in order to adopt them out to new owners. Additionally spay neuter clinics are held to lower the population of unwanted animals. The clinics are low cost clinics for low income people in our community.
