Causes: Child Abuse Prevention, Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services, Civil Rights, Crime & Law, Domestic Violence, Protection Against Abuse
Mission: To support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.
Target demographics: children who have experienced abuse and neglecy.
Geographic areas served: Jefferson, Bullitt, Henry, Oldham, Trimble, Shelby, and Spencer Counties.
Programs: training volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Volunteers give 1-4 hours per week to mentor a child to ensure that they have the presence of a caring, consistent adult in their life.
