Causes: Children's Rights, Children & Youth
Mission: The mission of casa of south louisiana is to recruit and support carefully selected quality community volunteers. In an effort to find each child a safe, nurturing, and permanent home, these volunteers are trained to speak in court for the best interests of abused and neglected children.
Programs: During the fiscal year, casa of sola had an average of 50 volunteer advocates per month. These volunteers assisted an average of 81 children per month through their temporary assistance to needy families program; a total of 54 cases were closed during the year.
