Mission: Casa jefferson's mission is to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect through volunteers advocating for safe, nurturing, and permanent homes, for children in foster care in our community. Casa jefferson utilizes trained community members to advocate for children who have been abused or neglected. The volunteer participates in the court process and ensures that the child's best interest is represented at all stages of the process.
Programs: 128 casa advocates provided first hand advocacy for children in the jpjc system. These casa's served 226 children. 111 cases closed, of which 91% of the children achieved a permanent home at case closure.
