Mission: The mission of the Casa de Angeles Foundation is to build and operate an orphanage on the outskirts of Antigua, Guatemala. The current operation is housed in a small, inadequate, rented building with no play area or educational facilities. The need is great, not only for the 22 children already there, but for the many others who require this kind of loving, supportive facility.
Programs: Accomplishment of our mission will require: (1) purchase of an appropriate site-DONE (2) establish an infra-structure including development of architectural plans; provide a fence, wells and water holding tank, septic tanks, electricity and phone lines (3) build and furnish the structures (4) construct age-appropriate playgrounds (5) support ongoing operational costs such as staff salaries, utility bills, clothing, food, books, etc (6) add structures and staff as the number of children increases
