Casa Council is an amazing organization that helped a foster child attend a conference that made a difference in her life. It is amazing to find an organization that truly cares about children and helping them to succeed in life. Thank you for being there for children that just need a hand up!
Bev and Rod and all of the council members of CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County are amazing. I am a case manager and legal guardian of many children. CASA Council has helped families I work with and have provided for the children's needs. I am grateful to CASA Council for assisting the families I serve in so many ways from providing clothing money, beds, bedding, educational toys, and so many other things. CASA Council is always quick to jump in and offer assistance to families that have needs.

As a social worker with children in the foster care system, CASA council has come through for children I work with on a very regular basis. Bev and Rod are amazing, friendly and do everything to help the children of Mohave County. Multiple times they have provided for children's needs of clothing, bedding, educational items and so many more things. Excellent non-profit and they are always doing fund raisers and taking care of foster children in Mohave County. I am grateful to this organization again and again. Thank you CASA Council of Mohave County.
The Mohave County CASA Council and its team is the best organization out there for youth in care in Mohave County. They are amazing people and are always looking to help our youth. I work with teens in foster care and they are amazing at helping me meet the needs of my youth.
I hhad 3 foster kiddos, down to 2. I am kinship and it has been tough. I love my nieces, but it wasn't planned. I lost my job, we moved and we still had our two kids. That meant five kids. We were a family of four and overnight went to a family of seven.
This organization helped us with everything. They gave my kids beds and dressers and comforters. Then they gave us money for clothes and backpacks. When they needed bikes, they helped out. They give the girls clothing allowance every six months. They helped us out with uniforms for school. They gave us school supplies. They paid for them to go to Cheer and Football.
If it wasn't for them, the girls would've ended up in a group home in Phoenix. The girls are happy and healthy and healing.
Thank you CASA for ALWAYS helping and giving our kiddos whatever they need. This is probably the best organization in our county. Rod and Bev are amazing human beings.
CASA Council is an amazing organization. In the 2 years I have been a CASA volunteer, CASA Council has repeatedly assisted in providing for the foster children I work with. Bev and Rod are tireless in their fundraising efforts to ensure foster children know they are important, cared for and supported.
Whenever I made a request to CASA Council, they immediately reply to my request and within a day or two whatever has been requested is delivered to the child. Just to name a few of the things CASA Council has done, they provided a prom dress for a high school girl who was attending public school for the first time; a riding helmet and riding boots for a child who was enrolled in equine therapy; and summer clothes for a growing boy who exhausted his DCS clothing allowance but needed clothes that fit him.
I wish everyone could see the joy in the kids' faces and the gratitude they express for the support they receive from CASA Council.
In addition, CASA Council supports the volunteers so we can fulfill our responsibilities and make a difference in a child's life.
Thank you, Bev and Rod and CASA Council, for all you do for the CASA program and for the children in foster care in Mohave County.
CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County has been a Godsend to the foster children in our community. They have gone above and beyond to help whenever a need arises for one of these children. I am so very grateful for their service and commitment. Thank you so very much!
I volunteer for a few nonprofits, but non of them compare to Casa Counsel of Mohave County. There is no payroll in this organization, everyone is strickley on a volunteer basis. The dedication to helping the children and families within Mohave County and now Pinal County also is just amazing. With our community growing at such a fast pace, this is an organization that has grown right along with it and help every child possible.

Five stars, without a doubt!
CASA Council of Mohave County is such a wonderful organization. They help countless children in the foster care system in Mohave County with obtaining beds, bedding, clothing, car seats, etc. CASA Council also helps local families through community events for Back to School, Trunk or Treats, and Winter Wonderland. Their mission to help children and families is so wonderful and they are a vital attribute to the community.
CASA Council has never turned down a request for a foster child in need on my cases. One of my foster children expressed that he would like to be a chef after he graduates. CASA Council paid all expenses for him to participate in a summer culinary arts program at our local community college. This is just one of the many times they have been able to help when I have reached out. They are absolutely amazing!
CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County are super amazing at helping the kiddos in Mohave county as well as the families that need help. They are amazing at what they do and I am grateful for them on a daily basis.
CASA Council is always available to help any child in a Mohave County dependency/in home case. They recently provided bunk beds, mattresses, dressers and bedding to a family in need. They are expeditious with delivery and friendly. They ensure the children's needs are met, so they can feel like they are not missing out on being a kid. Every kid should have what they need, so they can just be a kid.
Recommend CASA Council to all of my colleagues and peers.

If you are able to make a tax deductible donation CASA Council would greatly appreciate it. You can do it here or go to our website at casasupport.org and help make a difference in the lives of Mohave County and LaPaz County children. Thank you.
This nonprofit organization helps so many families when reunifying with their families. I work with this agency to help families reunifying with their children get the things they need when they do not have the funds, including clothing, beds, bedding, dressers and so much more. This agency is always doing what they can to help families and make sure they have what they need, to make sure the children are ready for their return home. The people within this organization are amazing, and caring, and put all their time, energy, and effort into improving the lives of the families within the community.
The Board of Directors are phenomenal. The kindness I experienced with this organization is so genuine they are truly here to help those in need. I have worked with non-profits in the past but CASA is truly exceptional.

We are foster parents in Yavapai County, but welcomed two brothers from Mohave County into our home. Since our boys are not from this county we have not been able to participate in many foster care activities geared only to Yavapai youth. However, Mohave County CASA has really been there to support our family and meet specific needs the boys have had. Rod Siemens was so encouraging and supportive... going up and above in meeting our needs. Thank you so much Mohave CASA!

Thank you CASA Council!!
This is such an amazing organization. Without them my 2 children that we adopted would probably not be alive today. They did their due diligence, did the research that DCS was not doing and "caught" things happening that we all knew was happening, but no one could prove. They saved the childrens lives and were super professional and we never knew what was going on until court.
I am a CASA and CASA Council of Mohave County is the greatest gift to the County's foster children. They have always been there to provide for foster children in need. I have requested numerous items from special needs babies to youth in the Independent Living Program and I know I can count on them to help. They are an amazing organization and I thank each and everyone of them for their dedication to foster children and wanting to make a difference in their lives.
I love that CASA Council provides our kids with needs to be a kid. They get many essentials like sleeping in a bed, car seats and clothing on their backs. They get to join sports, activities and have a place to go for care with after school programs. Without CASA these children would have a way of life tougher than they were handed in the first place.
I can always count on CASA to help us out. They do a great job of serving our children in our community. They host the best events and a fun time, especially the golf tournament.
I work for DCS and CASA has always been there to support our children in need. It is amazing how fast they act when our children in need. For example, they got beds and car seats same day and ultimately made the difference in being able to keep a child in a kinship care. This is just a small example of all the children they have helped over the years. It is people like them that makes doing a job like mine easier and worth while. Thank you CASA for being such a big supporter in our children, or community, and our families.
Working with Mohave County CASA for the past 5 years has been a really great experience. They make the magic happen with children in care. No matter how bizarre the request, if they can't fulfill it they will reach out to those who can and make it happen for the youth of Arizona. It is always a pleasure to meet with all the members and they have such kind and generous hearts.
I became a foster parent because of a kinship placement. I didn't really know what the CASA organization did for our community. I really appreciate the donations-the gift cards for clothes and shoes was so helpful. The winter wonderland gifts of books, pajamas and toys really brighten my child. They even gave a beanie to my specials' needs nephew. Thank you to the board of directors for giving so much of your time and resources back to our community and for your support, especially to our little guy! ~Forever grateful
CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County consistently is able to provide for foster youth in Kingman. They go the extra mile to ensure Arizona's most vulnerable children have all of their basic needs covered and often will help these children acquire necessary items for school too.

We became a kinship placement for my cousins children on very short notice. To say we were a little unprepared is an understatement. CASA has been so kind and helpful throughout the process. They have helped with many items we have needed for both children and my husband and I could not be more grateful for their generosity. It is truly amazing to us both that there are such selfless organizations such as this to help these children in their most needing of times. I hope to be able to donate to CASA in the future to help other children in need!
Casa is the best the whole team have been nothing but so much help for all the children's needs in my care I have had so much help and all the work they do
CASA has been there to help when other avenues were taking too long. I have 3 children and no matter if it is clothing, computers , sports equipment or any other needs Bev and Rod are always right there ready to help in anyway they can. At Christmas time when no one but the foster family is there to provide the expense of gifts for foster children CASA is always there to help not only with warm clothing and toys but with Santa. For those who don't know foster parents get 75 cents an hour for foster care. So CASA is a blessing

CASA is very supportive of all of our foster kids and recently provided us with important educational materials to help get one of our academically delayed kids up to speed.
I was truly thankful that the CASA Council was in place and able to help the children. The town where they have been placed does not have a girls/boys club and there is no place for outside activity which they all seem to want and need. The Council was able to purchase a basketball hoop and two ball for the children. I'm not sure how much they will be used at 115 degrees but at least the set up is available. As an aside, on of the Council members actually donated another basketball unit. They are great people who really care for our children. Melinda Sobraske

The Mohave County CASA Council has been instrumental in supplying funds for children in foster care. Children, particularly foster children, have needs to feel special and to feel loved. The CASA Council is very diligent in making their dreams come true! The CASA Council is very approachable and a pleasure to work with.
I have been a Mohave County CASA for several years. I truly appreciate the work done by the Mohave County CASA Council. They raise money to provide the "extras" for the children that makes them feel "normal" in a time of need. Not only do they work hard to put a smile on each of the kids faces at Christmas, they also make sure that the children are not forgotten throughout the rest of the year. Because it is not unusual for children to carry their most precious and personal belongings in a garbage bag when they leave their homes, the CASA Council works hard to provide the children with suitcases. The CASA Council provides funding for all of the extras that are so often forgotten (from suitcases to camp to prom) but mean so much in the lives of these children. The Mohave CASA Council is very easy to work with and very responsive to the needs of each of the children.
I have gone to the CASAsuppport.org website to apply for funding for the unmet needs of foster children in Mohave County. Whether a person is an advocate, foster parent or DCS caseworker, this is the site to go where 100% of the funding raised goes to support the kids. I especially appreciate the swim lessons which make kids a little safer around water. Children in the care of the State deserve opportunities and the special help this non-profit gives them.

As a case manager I have had the pleasure of working with the CASA council on numerous occasions. The CASA council has assisted many children in our community with individual needs as well as reaching out to all foster children in Mohave county, though events such as the fall festival and Christmas celebration. The council collaborates with local agencies and providers to ensure our community's foster children never believe that they are invisible.

I never had trouble with asking CASA in assisting our children in Mohave County. They have assist our children in their needs that we could not provide on the spot. Some of our youth got additional funds to assist them in graduation and prom, which is a big for youths getting ready to transition to adulthood. It helps the youths to celebrate a milestone than worry how to earn the money to get the necessary to celebrate their accomplishment.

We are grateful as an Agency and I am grateful as a former case manager and now supervisor of this support for the children and families that we serve.

I am a case manager for the department of child safety. I have worked with several of the Casa's assigned to Lake Havasu. Each and everyone of them have served my children above and beyond what is required of them per their volunteer job description. I have relied on the Casa's to make suprise visits at visits, placements, and schools when I had concerns and needed a second opinion. They have provided outings for my children that the children would have otherwise not experianced. The Casa's have provided my children with grants and resources when they were in need of clothing or equipment or fees for activitivities.
The Casa's have also worked with our parents helping them with resources and giving advice when the parent has asked them.
The Casa's have always been freindly and professional. They represent the children well in court.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Council Helps Provide Needed Extras To Foster Kids.
A six year old I advocated for was disrupting her school class and having a difficult time making friends. Her angry aggressive behaviors were brought on by severe emotional abuse. She loved basketball and it was a way to reach her. CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County provided money for her enrollment in a basketball class at the local YMCA. She was caught up in an activity that required concentration, teamwork, and sharing. CASA Council gave her a chance to begin learning socially appropriate behaviors.
There are funds to feed, shelter, and clothe children once they enter foster care. There aren't funds to give them opportunities or provide them with activities. Being removed from family, even a highly dysfunctional one, is traumatic. Special experiences can give a child a break from a frightening and disorienting time. They can foster a sense of normalcy. They can create an opportunity to explore a talent or interest. They can set a child on a new path.
I am priviledged to volunteer as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and advocate for abused and neglected children in court. I also donate to the excellent work of CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County. I hope you'll join me.
I have been a Casa in Mohave County for six years. While the State does have some funding for necessities, they do not have enough for everything that the child needs and should have. The Casa Council of Mohave County is a very progressive organization that helps children who are in foster care. Several children from my cases were blessed by the organization funding things like music lessons and tutoring. They have one golf tournament per year to raise money to help these children. If you have the opportunity to help them it would be most appreciated.

The CASA foundation serving Mohave County in Arizona is AWESOME. They are always able and willing to provide necessities for the children we serve. In fact, I cannot think of a situation where they were unable to provide assistance. On a number of occasions, we have asked for help with clothes, laptops for school, food for children who abruptly come into care, financial assistance for dance lessons, sports fees, and field trips. I have also noticed CASA's who are asigned to support a specific child are equally helpful in assuring the children we serve have everything they need to overcome the situation which brought them into the state's care. I do not know what we would do without the CASA foundation, but am grateful we have them.

I can't say enough about this wonderful organization. I am a new CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Mohave County. As trained advocates, CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to be a voice for children in court. These children have been removed form their homes due to abuse and/or neglect and most often placed in Foster Care. One of my cases involved two young special-needs children that were placed in the home of a relative who had pool without a fence. CASA Council provided the funds, in just a few days, for the kids to each receive swimming lessons. CASA Council provides funds for sports, tutoring, camps, martial arts, special clothing, educational help, just to name a few. Their goal is to enrich the lives of foster care children and leave them with some wonderful lifetime memories. They do a great job!
I have been a CASA volunteer for 13 years. Over the past six years CASA Council has helped many of the foster children assigned to my case load. Just this past year they funded equine therapy for a severely traumatized seven year old which calmed him down, helped him focus, and learn discipline. I have a sibling group of four children and CASA Council funded the oldest boy for a Sheriff's Boot camp this past summer. He has ADHD and he learned some skills to increase his concentration and discipline. The middle boy was funded by CASA Council for a month long basketball camp. The youngest boy was funded for a month long art class. One of the great things about this is he had art supplies left over and his is still drawing and painting.
Thank you CASA Council for being there to help our children grow and develop their skills like other children.

We have been very Blessed to receive funding from CASA Council of Mohave County. They have assisted my foster sons with fees for church camp this summer. Without their help he would not have been able to attend. They have also assisted us with his fees for the Young Marines program. It is a program that helps youngsters 8-18 to learn what the Military is like, learn respect of Our Country, adults, no tolerance for drugs and peer relationships. He has gone camping and learned so much that he would have never been exposed to otherwise. They have assisted us with uniforms for the Police Explorers program for another young man. Having CASA Council available to help with the "EXTRAS", I feel that I am giving the boys the best environment for which to grow and blossom into responsible adults. It is so nice to have "Fairy Godparents" out there looking out for all of us foster families!

Foster Children in the Arizona system are provided with their basic needs. When it comes to extras this is where CASA Council has made a difference for my CASA children They have provided business clothing when a teenager got her first job in a bank. They funded allergy testing for a severely allergic child, the state would not cover. Bought bunk bed for a birth mom so the children could have overnight visits. They bought Minnie Mouse bedding for a three year old who was having trouble sleeping in a big girl bed. Good, caring people, doing good things for abused children. I say, five stars.*****
I am a CASA for Mohave County. Being new to the business, I found CASA council very helpful and supportive. When I needed money for my client's special trip, the council came through for me. This council keeps careful track of all funding to prove that they are completely legitimate- which they are.
I highly recommend this organization to anyone who wants to see great use of donated and very needed funds.
