Mission: The mission of the carson county
Programs: Collection management - the museum maintains a substantial collection of artifacts which pertain to the local texas panhandle area. Registration and maintenance expenses are necessary to manage and maintain the condition of these items.
education - the museum has various classes for children, including summer youth arets and line camp. In addition, tours are available throughout the year to area schools. Upon request, there is a traveling educational program utilization trunks of historical area artifcats and information.
exhibition - the museum conducts tours throughout the year for area schools as well as for other local community groups and private citizens. The museum is open seven days a week for viewing by the general public.
