Mission: Our mission is to reach out to, love, serve and restore hope to anyone that is in broken and seemingly hopeless situations.
We will provide shelter and a loving family environment to those who are in need.
We will reach out to and connect with families in our neighborhood in order to promote community and to provide a safe choice for them to come and spend quality time at and to give them a place that they know they can come to for support and help.
Our goal through these works of service is to shine the light and love of Christ to any and all!
Results: The Firehouse has been home to over 17 different families over the past several years. Most of these families have left our home within a year or so to lead productive lives on their own!
We have been a source of hope and light to our neighborhood and community. We have had the blessing of being able to connect with numerous individuals and families offering many different levels of support.
Our family is now in the process of raising funds in order to purchase land to start a farm for foster and at-risk children. Our hope is to pass the Firehouse on to another family or organization that would like to continue that ministry.
Target demographics: The Firehouse targets low-income or homeless families in the Kansas City Metro area that need a fresh start. On Eagles Wings Farm will reach out to at-risk, foster or orphaned children between the ages of 3 and 16.

The Neland family is dear to my heart. I’ve known them all for years and have always been amazed and blessed by their love of The Lord. They have kind and generous hearts and are creative about helping people who are often overlooked and fall through the cracks. They genuinely love God and are acting as Jesus’ hands and feet.
Our family has had the privilege of seeing this ministry's impact first hand. These guys don't simply throw money at problems that arise in the areas they work in, they throw themselves. Their sacrifices of time, energy and love have reached a huge number of people with a positive impact I don't think they'll ever fully understand.
I have been blessed to be able to stay at The Firehouse in Kansas City, Kansas. The Neland's have helped my family and I get through some of our hardest times in life. I first came to their home when my kids and I were homeless. They helped us to get a new start in life. They have always shown us love and grace and have become like family to us!
