Mission: To assist in raising funds for csmshla and its affiliated centers in support of their mission of promoting a deeper spiritual life among families through healthcare, education and retreats.
Programs: The seasons of the soul concert was an evening of musical inspiration and hope showcasing an integral part of the daily lives of the carmelites, ranging from gregorian chants to contemporary christian music. The concert sold out a local theatre of over 1200 seats, the proceeds of which will be used to further the rose garden assisted living facility and other apostolic works of the sisters.
the friends of carmel program in florida held its annual luncheon and lecture which drew an estimated 250 guests to the biltmore hotel to hear lecturer sister timothy marie. This event continues to infuse the community with spirituality and charism, as well as bring awareness and extend participation to the mission of the various carmelite apostolates.
