Mission: The Carlsen Cello Foundation seeks to place fine quality cellos in the hands of hard working young cello students who would otherwise not have access to the cello they deserve on which to practice and progress.
Results: The Carlsen Cello Foundation currently has 65 cellos out on loan at no cost to students across the United States.
Target demographics: Cello students of all ages who have a clear financial need for assistance and who have exhibited the enthusiasm, desire, and motivation to continue their cello studies and maximize the benefits that their music can bring into their own lives and the lives around them
