Mission: Our Mission is to:
Rescue and rehabilitate as many abandoned and neglected cats as we can each year.
Once healthy, we find loving, safe and permanent homes for all of the cats that we take in to our rescue.
We have TNR projects at two separate feral colonies where we feed, give fresh water to and monitor at least 100 feral cats each day.
We are an all volunteer no-kill 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue.
Programs: We spay/ neutered 200 feral cats and released them back into their colonies. We feed and maintain these colonies and or other care takers help us to care them on a daily basis. We took in 300 cats. Provided spay/neuter and all medical before finding forever homes for 225 cats.
This shelter is amazing! I must say that this shelter wants both the cat and the family receiving the cat to be happy. They take the time to find out about your story and tell about the cat's story as well so they can ensure the best fit for both. All of the people care so deeply for the cats that they foster and dedicate so much time to them. They go out of their way to make the adoption happen and for it to be convenient for the family. We started out with one cat in mind but then quickly fell in love with two of them due to the guidance of a volunteer. She knew that the second one was a good fit for us. The cats were well loved and showed it by being a dominate part of our family right from the start. They are both healthy and happy and I know it is due to the wonderful start in life that they recieved at Caring Friends Cat Rescue.
