Mission: The caring ambassadors program mission is to improve the lives of patients and communities by empowering and educating them to be advocates for their own health.
Programs: Caring ambassadors hepatitis c programaccomplishments - caring ambassadors hepatitis c program engaged invarious public awareness activities including collecting hcv stories though our partnership with storycorps and chicago young authors, community screening events and public speaking. Distributed over 80,000 pieces of educational materiel in 2017. New coalition formed to address the opioid and hepatitis syndemic
caring ambassadors lung cancer programaccomplishments - in 2017 the lung cancer program distributed 634 hard copies of lung cancer choices, 3rd edition. Caregiver choices was distributed to 473 caregivers, and targeted therapy, immunotherapy, clinical trials, and treatment team brochures were distributed to over 10,000 clinics and providers.
