I don’t even know where to start. Careity saved my life. My husband had lost his job. I had no insurance. A friend told me about Careity. I called Careity and talked directly to Beverly and Lyn. In 2 days I was at Solis getting a mammogram and a sonogram. The Doctor told me he was more then 50 percent it was cancer. The very next day I was in the surgeons office getting a biopsy of the mass. I did not pay for any of these appointments. Careity paid all those bills.
A week later the Doctor told me I did have cancer. Careity helped me navigate my care in every way. Even getting me a social worker. Careity had the BEST doctors caring for me. I mean the absolute best. These Doctors work directly with Careity and their passion for helping women with no insurance or under insured is personal for them. These Doctors are the Best of the Beat. Beverly and Lyn are the best of the best. That’s why they pick the Doctors they do. To make sure their patience get the absolute best care. I had a double Mastectomy follow by 5 months of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation. I felt Love. Embraced and cared for. I volunteer now because I must give back for all Careity has given me. My diagnoses was March of 2020. It is now August of 2021. Thank you Careity for all the Love and sacrifice you make to help all of us survive.

I found out that I had been diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2019. My employer has always supported Careity so she recommended that I call them. I called immediately on that very monumental day in my life and spoke to Lynn. I really didn't understand the ball that I had started rolling with one phone call. By that afternoon I had the red carpet to high quality vetted doctors CALLING ME to set up an appointment!! It's such a scary place to be in and you just don't even know where to start. I'm so thankful that I started my first phone call to Careity because it was the only call I had to make. They helped me find the best doctors in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. These are doctors that people travel from all over the United States to visit and I was getting calls from them to help me. I couldn't put a value on that, it's immeasurable! I'm thankful for everything Careity has done for me and is doing for women in my community.

I volunteered with other organizations, but CAREity was the one I believed in and truly loved! I discovered all of my doctors that had healed and supported me through my breast cancer journey are also part of Careity and on their Board. When I met Beverly (Co-Founder) the first time, I was amazed by her heart and passion! We talked a long while and I asked her “What can I do to help?” I went to her office a few days later, met Lyn (Co-Founder) and knew I had found my place! I cannot begin to count the people I speak to daily and meet at various places that say “Careity helped me and Thank You!” Actually Careity has saved many lives and I have met many of those ladies, and are now close friends. Careity, Lyn & Beverly are God’s gift to the many people they have touched! :)

They told me they would pay my bills as long as I went to their doctors and their hospitals and so on which I did but they never paid the ones they promised me they would pay. I stopped going to their doctors 2 months later due to medical reasons but those bills should already have been paid, they stalled for one reason after another and never told me they weren’t going to pay and then 6 months later I got bills from collection agencies because they were never paid. They never told me about any of the services they state they offer in this article. I got nothing from them in any form and I am a breast cancer patient. I would not suggest to donate to this foundation. I should have known when they forced you to go to certain doctors only that it wasn’t a true charity.
