We had an amazing photo session with Capes and Crowns. Everyone was so friendly. It was nice to not think about Autism for a couple minutes and see my son enjoy being an astronaut. He loved the costume so much we ended up buying one and he is being an astronaut for Halloween! This photo is such a blessing to our family! Thank you!
As a volunteer for Capes and Crowns and a mother of a daughter with special needs, I know how much an "Inspire" session means to each family. So much goes into each session, it truly goes so far beyond the photos. Each member of the team is so entirely dedicated to making sure that these families feel loved and special during some of the most difficult times in their lives. There's nothing that can compare to a child smiling for the first time in months after being in the hospital for treatments, or finally laughing and being themselves again after a traumatic life event. Sure, the costumes are fun, the photos are phenomenal. But what we are able to give to these kids and the ones they love is so much more than a cool image of them as a superhero or a princess; we give them memories.
