The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation does beneficial things for every student at CCA. It is run by a true professional with the students best interest at hear. They are fortunate to have a dedicated staff and board that look beyond the ordinary, and are always expanding their community outreach, as well as find new and creative ways to fundraise. Wonderful to see the endless opportunities that the students experience due to the hard work of this organization.

The CCA Foundation is a fantastic non-profit. They run a very tight ship, and our students have benefited tremendously from the wonderful, generous parents. In addition to the Arts, the Robotics group has received tremendous support, the College and Career Center, and they are also supporting the Wellness Program here at CCA.

I have nothing but great things to say about the CCA foundation. Over the last several years it has grown from a small volunteer organization to a professionally run non-profit that has made major strides in raising money to support programs (academic, sports, stem and arts alike), purchasing supplies/technology for classrooms and helping the school and staff with the development and education of our students in very positive ways. When I tell friends that have students in other school districts or in other parts of the country about the opportunities available to the students at CCA, I find that no one can even come close to what is available to the students at CCA. We are so lucky to have an organization that is so well run by such a professional staff and funded by our generous community. Kudos to the staff of the CCA foundation! You guys rock.

We are so grateful for the dedication and commitment of our community to fund the needs of our local public high school through the CCA Foundation. Through the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers, the foundation funds almost all of the school's extra-curricular activities. As a former board member, I can attest to the meticulous financial stewardship of every penny of donor money. The staff is honest, hardworking and caring.

The CCA Foundation is a well run organization that does incredible things with a small staff and a hard working board. It has provided countless opportunities for students that they otherwise would not have had in all areas of interest and study. Donors can have confidence that their donations are being wisely spent and very well managed.

The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation is a powerful force for good on campus and in the lives of all the students in the classrooms and in their extracurricular activities. The students success is definitely due, in large part, to the support provided by the CCAF.

Phenomenal organization that raises money for student programs at a public high school. Funds almost all of the after-school and extracurricular activities at the school, sports, arts, academic teams. My student benefited from the programs funded by the foundation, and it is doubtful she would have had the same career trajectory without the programs funded by the foundation. Those programs were instrumental in getting her into an incredible university and internships.

I have found the staff and board leadership to be impeccable. The organization is audited annually and has seen phenomenal growth over its 14 year history. I have volunteered in many capacities and all of my volunteer time has been well spent and even fun.

There is a tiny, local group of disgruntled parents, including Del Mar Mom, who regularly attend school board meetings to malign school board members and foundations. Their issues stem from their students' failure to make a team, or be cast in a play, or have personal success. Rather than take any personal responsibility, they blame teachers, staff, and administration for their failures as parents. They are helicopter parents who have crashed and burned.

Please, form your own opinion about the foundations in this district. Volunteer, and you will surely find that they are a huge asset to the community.

Avoid at all cost. Managerial mismanagement, inappropriate District oversight, financial improprieties.
