Mission: Canines is dedicated to promoting independence and enhancing the lives of children with disabilities by providing access to specially trained assistance dogs and education to children and adults on the benefits of service animals.
Programs: Canines for disabled kids helps families and children with disabilities with the following: access to trained assistance animals, consulting to determine if a canine is the right tool for the child's need to expand independence, assistance in the community to secure full access for children using assistance dogs under the americans with disabilities act (ada) and provision of educational programs about the ada and assistance animals to schools, businesses and civic groups.
