Causes: Cancer, Health, Patient & Family Support
Mission: The Cancer Journeys Foundation mission is to provide the best possible knowledge, support, and community that cancer survivors need to develop and implement cancer survivorship plans and cancer survivor journey maps. We know from personal experience the emotional lows of a cancer diagnosis and the challenges in finding the information and support so critical to dealing with a cancer diagnosis and the journey that comes afterwards. No one should should have to face cancer alone. That’s our mission – to be there for cancer survivors.
Target demographics: We help cancer survivors and their care givers find the information and support they need to have the best possible quality of life as the move through their survivorship period.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2017 more than 250,000 people visited our website and more than 25,0000 men (and growing) are using our prostate cancer early detection system.
Geographic areas served: We work nationally in the United States
Programs: The CJF provides a comprehensive digital information hub for cancer survivors and care givers. We also operate and provide, free of charge, a prostate cancer early detection system on the Internet, currently serving over 22,000 men and their families.
