Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Cancer, Cancer Research, Health

Mission: The Cancer Cure Foundation is dedicated to research and education inalternative cancer therapies. With billions of research dollars being spenteach year in the furtherance of conventional treatments there is little wecould do to improve that effort. We note with dismay that, in spite of thishuge expenditure, conventional medicine appears to be no closer to a cancercure today than before the search began. We believe if a cure for cancer isto be found, it likely will be found outside conventional areas of research. We believe the time has come to use non-toxic therapies that enhance thebody's natural defenses rather than damaging them. The types of research weendorse include the role of nutrition, herbal remedies, immune-systemstimulation, and cellular rejuvenation. Our mission is to sponsor scientificstudy in these areas and to provide information to the public regarding theresults of those studies and to refer people to physicians who use thesealternative approaches.

SCAM ALERT! No legitimate information anywhere including the CA State Attorney General's search site. I've called these people twice now, once today and once some months ago with no information given. The donation bags are also illegally handed out door to door by an unlicensed co in my City by the name of "M and J Distribution" Los Angeles stated by the owner, Merlo, and confirmed by my City Business License Dept. According to the website below, they are questionable to be the most polite, and have only donated about 3% of revenue in recent years of which is outrageously ridiculous if not criminal.

Hi, I donated to Cancer Cure Foundation by donating items in January and February of 2013. I called to get the tax ID number for my taxes and left a message. A gentleman just called me back and argued with me over needing the tax ID number. Eventually he began yelling at me because I was insistent that I needed it for my taxes. Can we say illegal? Once I said I would notify the IRS, he said I could email him and get it that way. I'm confused as to why I had to email? He phoned me back knowing what I needed. Why not give it to me over the phone. I will be notifying the IRS about the refusal to give me the number.
