Attending the Cancer Control Society's Annual Conference changed my life. As a nurse I thought I knew something about cancer, but I quickly realized I knew practically nothing. I know that conventional treatments make exaggerated claims but fail at long term success.
The mission of the Cancer Control Society (CCS) is to educate consumers about powerful, healing healthcare options, most of which are ignored by the mainstream system. CCS runs a tight organization with many volunteers and whatever staff they have is not well paid. In my 40-plus years in healthcare, I’ve never met a nonprofit in the health arena that has done more good for so many on such little funding.
