Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Cancer, Health, Health Support, Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Thrift Shops
Mission: A local independent non-profit founded in 2000, Cancer Connection is dedicated to encouraging and guiding people living with cancer and their loved ones along the cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond and to provide people with cancer a safe, caring environment to meet others with cancer.
Results: All of our programs and services are being offered using phone and remote technology. Please call us (413) 586-1642) to be connected to any of our free programs and services. Our center is not open for in-person visits at this time (winter 2021-2022). Our Thrift Shop is OPEN with enhanced safety precautions.
Target demographics: All individuals living with a cancer diagnosis as well as their families and caregivers

Programs: Befriending (one-on-one peer support), Support groups: breast cancer, gynecological cancers, men living with cancer, caregivers and families and two general cancer support groups. Classes: Spirit of the Written Word, Yoga Nidra, Music & Movement, Mindfulness, and knitting.
