I have seen Cancer Care Services in action. Their employees are truly dedicated to helping those in need. I'm sure they have guidelines given their budget & so many people with a need for help. But no doubt they do all they can. In this day & time the number of people stricken with cancer is heartbreaking. Thank you Cancer Care Services for all you do every day. I hope more people will donate, even small amounts matter, so they can help more people.

Because I felt like I was being treated unfairly, and spoke up, I was impolitely politely told that they had already helped me with 2 months of Cobra payments and unfortunately were capped off and could no longer assist me in assistance towards my cancer care. And went in the office by thd front door and laughed at me while I was walking out. I wonder how many people they turn away? I never see any cars in their parking lot. These people hired to assist people not turn them away because they don't appeal to their own tastebuds. I asked the director for a letter stating that Cancer Care Services could no longer help me, she got really defensive and refused. Then said she would mail one off. I rec'd a letter from someone else stating something totally different than our conversation. This place did not care about my cancer, they made that a point!

This is an awesome organization, and truly helps folks when they need it the most. When you receive a cancer diagnosis, a whirlwind begins, and you often don't know where to turn for help. They provide services for people who qualify for financial assistance, such as paying for medication, nutritional supplements and assistance with health insurance premiums. Imagine loosing your health insurance coverage because you can no longer work, and that is when you need your insurance the most. What is also amazing about this organization is that they do everything with community support - no insurance reimbursements, no federal or state funding - just kindness from your fellow neighbors! If this doesn't give you warm fuzzies, I don't know what will.
