Causes: Health, Health Support
Mission: Cancer care foundation of tidewater provides practical information, emotional support and financial assistance to cancer patients in the tidewater community.
Programs: Provide emotional and educational services to cancer patients, their families, caregivers and other interested parties with regard to cancer care; to promote the psychological and emotional support of cancer patients, their families and caregivers by sponsoring or identifying outreach groups and support groups for coping; provide small humanitarian grants for non-medical purposes to individuals receiving cancer treatment; and to establish a program through which funding might be provided to indigent individuals for cancer treatment.
