Our heroic Maximilian was diagnosed with brain cancer at 3 1/2 years old. He had brain surgery and completed 2 years of treatment. His condition is considered stable, but he currently requires an MRI every four month for monitoring. His identical twin, Alexander is his biggest supporter, rooting for him to beat cancer. We heard about Campaign One At A Time (COAAT) from another family with a child fighting cancer. COAAT had a simple online form that allowed Max to submit some of his favorite things and wishes. He included the full gamut, from meeting a domesticated fox to throwing out the first pitch at a New York Yankees baseball game. Like any child, he loves to dream, only his hopes also include a victory in his battle against cancer. Max and Alex are looking forward to celebrating their 9th birthday together in December and many, many, many more to come!
Campaign One At A Time is a great foundation that help kids battling critical illness to make memories that last a life time.
My daughter was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago and having foundations like this one was a great thing for her by bringing her smiles and make her forget that she was sick even if it was only for few moments.
OAAT is amazing!!! They try to help every family that they can. They were able to put a smile on my little girls face by doing a room makeover that they love. They are the best!!!
100% of your donation goes to the child that they are taking the donation for, 100%!
I don't think much more needs to be said than that, but the main players in OAAT are the most sincere, genuine people that you would ever want to meet.
I'm very very cautious about who I donate the money that has been entrusted to me to, and I NEVER worry about cheerfully giving to what OAAT is doing. I have total confidence that they are making the best use of the monies donated, but more importantly they are giving of themselves to these children and their families.
You may find an organization as good as OAAT, but you will never find one better!
have always been such a great help and assistance to kids going through a rough time. they always aim to provide happiness and joy to these little warriors.
Campaign One at a Time brings joy and support to very sick children and their families. Whether in the hospital or at home, the organization asks the child what they would like to help bring a smile to their face and joy in their hearts. OAAT has gone to extremes to make these wishes come true. Even in this time where they cannot do one on one visits, they have arranged virtual activities and visits from special people and/or characters. I am impressed with what the volunteers accomplish.
Campaign One At A Time is a fabulous, intimate nonprofit which we are supportive of and involved. Brodi and Staff do a phenomenal job of sharing the personal stories of each Campaign child and we all feel like a close-knit extended family. They do great things for these children and make dreams come true and give us all memories to last a lifetime. Proud to help them whenever and however we can.
Can say that I'm super proud to be a part of this squad with flying colors! ❤
Campaign One At A Time is a great support system for families battling cancer. They are always cheking up and helping in what they can. They have also teamed up with other amazing people like -Art Heals- to create Free Virutal art classes for kids, which I loved. During this time and staying at home, it really helped getting kids busy while they have fun. They are truly an amazing non-profit organization.
OAAT has really a big heart in helping kids battling life-threatening illnesses. Hoping you could help and give joy to more kids.❤️
This organization is wonderful! They helped raise money for my nephew who is battling stage 4 cancer. They personally came to our small city of Stockton to here is story. They volunteered with us cutting hair and feeding the homeless. This volunteer group is called Love Thy Neighbor and it's the vision of the young man Cameron Harris-Brown (the one fighting stage 4 cancer). He wanted to help those and need, and Campaign One At A Time helped him reach his goal of raising money for a non profit license. They continue to support our community everyday in any way they can. We are truly greatful to this organization.
I'm personally inspired everyday by all the children they help. They put a smile on the faces of families. Most of these children are fighting life-threatening illnesses and they need something stronger than any medicine to keep them fighting. Hope. That's what this organization does. It brings hope to families going through something most of us would never understand. This organization reminds those little ones and their families that your community is here for them. This organization reaches those in need both near and far. And above all, this organization inspires all of us! If we all give a little to those in need we can change a life. Maybe even save a life!
We, here in Stockton CA, love Campaign One At A Time and all the hard-working individual who are examples of real change-makers! We hope their mission continues on a global scale, touching the hearts of all those we donate, volunteer, and recieve the joyful gift of Hope!
Please check out this organization! Spread the word! Spread good! Change a life!!
My son Aiden is 9yrs old. Campaign One At A Time has helped him beyond belief. They were there for him during some of his darkest days.
I've been a volunteer at OAAT for a few months after an initial campaign with them! It's amazing to see how much of an impact the work they do makes in the lives of families with kids fighting life threatening illnesses.
Beyond the goodies, they really support the family in so many ways and honestly do care about every single person involved.
Amazing time working with OAAT on their campaign in the Philippines. The whole team is incredibly caring and work incredibly hard to positively impact as many people as possible. Aside from the community they support - they have also built a culture of compassion, authenticity, and integrity within their team. OAAT is an incredible nonprofit and one that I had an amazing experience working with.
My Son Aiden, is 9yrs old. I cannot say enough great things about Campaign One At A Time. They bring joy and light to many children like my son. They pulled him from the dark and brought the sunshine into his life.
I found One At A Time through a friend and had the chance to attend one of their fundraisers last year. The event was an art auction featuring local artists and was fun, well done, and had great food/drinks. I met the people behind the scenes of OAAT, even the founder Brodi, and saw how deeply they care about the children they serve. It was moving to learn the stories of the kids and families they help with their campaigns, and how much care OAAT staff puts into getting to know the families. OAAT is so much more than a fundraising campaign, and I look forward to attending more events in the future!
OAAT does an amazing job making a massive impact in the lives of the children they sponsor (parents and family as well)! I’ve seen firsthand how impactful this organization can be, stoked to be a part of it.
I have had the privilege of serving on the OAAT board of directors as a volunteer member for the past year. This org has SO much heart and meaning. Driven by the vision and unending commitment of our founder Brodi Nicolas, every single day of the year is focused on delivering joyful moments and experiences to the brave kids and their families who are enduring the treatment for life threatening illnesses.
Words can’t describe how amazing Campaign One at a Time is. They have helped so many children and families. They have changed so many lives for the better and they will continue to do so every single day. Much love to this amazing organization!
It truly is an honor to be a part of OAAT. It really is amazing how the organization would do whatever it takes to make a kid’s dream come true. I am so blessed to work with people who are very positive and never fail to bring out the best in everyone.
I've been working with OAAT for almost 11 months now. Being in this field is still new to me. Especially when I was meeting with families here in the Philippines. Still it's just so great to work with Brodi. He's a very positive person and he touches people's lives in a way that makes us feel empowered and be positive.
I gave 5 stars not because I'm a volunteer, but because we really do make an impact in people's lives.
Our son is a 2x Cancer Fighter and just as we learned we would need to fight once more Campaign One at a Time stepped in and reminded just us how Amazing our Community can be. This Foundation walked into our Family Room and asked how they could make our Warrior Smile. Without hesitating they made sure we would not fight alone. They have proven they go above and Beyond we are Truly Grateful to have this Nonprofit Foundation in our Lives. Thanks to all who have continued to help them Make our Children feel Special. Team Super Benji Loves You to the Moon & Back!
I have watched these beautiful humans build an organization from the ground up. Not only have I seen differences made in children’s lives, but you can tell that it brings hope, love, and more understanding to children with illness. This organization deserves to be recognized at the highest level possible; they are doing amazing work to help this world.
I was first introduced after my cancer diagnosis at age 17. I quickly learned how amazing their group of individuals were and what kindhearted things they were doing. Soon after I was considered in remission I filled out a volunteer application and since then try to help when I can. They are amazing and do wonderful things for kids and their families battling cancer. They truly know how to shed some light on a tough situation. They make the entire family feel supported! I am so glad to now be their blog writer and help spread the word of what great things they do.
We first learned of this organization during their Taylor Lee campaign. Our entire community came together for her and learning the impact that COAAT had on her family and their journey was inspiring. We have supported them now through several campaigns and will continue into the future!
I came from an outside group to help put on a princess party to send a young girl with cancer to Disneyland. It was amazing to see how OAAT brought the whole community together to support this family and send them on the vacation of a lifetime. I have seen them do it time and time again. The team knows exactly how to put a smile on everyone’s faces.
I watched this charity grow. I've seen it go up to do great things for everyday people. It has changed lives.
One At A Time is an amazing caring nonprofit. They have raised enough $ to send lil Avalynn Wallace an family on a Disney cruise PLUS helped the family to be close to her during her treatment. You guys ROCK in my book! Thank you for all you do!
Our friends daughter, Avalynn Hope Wallace, has been very ill with AML leukemia and because One At A Time stepped up they were blessed with some joy and peace in such a chaotic time. They truly are God sent. It just brings my heart so much joy to see and hear Avalynn smiling through this process and knowing One At A Time non profit played a big part in that.
OAAT does some pretty amazing things to help families out. So happy to know there are organizations out there like One At A Time!!!
They hosted a campaign for our daughter, avalynn, who is fighting aml leukemia. One at time, came and Became part of the family. We are so grateful for their effort and love! They brought princesses, room decorations, raised enough money for us to go on a Disney cruise and park our trailer at the ocean near the hospital.
So blessed!! Thank you so much!!
The folks at One At A Time are dedicated to their mission of spreading good to children with cancer. They work hard to raise funds to help children's dreams come true. Thank you. Thank you.
A most fantastic fantastic non profit!! If I could I would give a MILLION stars!!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They have assisted and also become part of the Avalynn Wallace Family! This organization is run with such incredible heart, vision and excellence! I am grateful that people and organizations exist like this. They go beyond just having numbers but they see the individual and greatly care for their families!
OAAT has brought so much joy to a little girl and her family that I love. They have relieved stress and brought joy.
Such an amazing local charity. I love how involved they get with the kids and their families. I have never questioned where my donation was going. I can’t say that about any other charity I’ve been involved with. I’ve made lasting relationships with the people we get to meet and help. You don’t just impact their lives, they impact yours!! Hands down an amazing charity and group of people!!
One at a time is such a special nonprofit! They dedicate so much of their life to making sure these kids get to experience everything that kids should. Being involved is a great feeling and the kids are so special and kind while going through so much. One at a Time really makes you feel a personal connection with the kids and their journey.
Campaign One at A Time helps kids with cancer cope in ways that are truly exceptional. They don't just give a gift and walk away, they get to know the child, the family, they BECOME family. They hang out, provide support. They come to medical procedures. They come to soccer games. They worry when we worry about fevers and bad news. They cheer on first days back to school and end of treatment dates and lost teeth (the normal childhood kind of lost teeth) and many other milestones that could fill this page.
Campaign One at A Time provides support that is TRULY from the heart at a time when a family is experiencing something that is FAR from normal. They support one family at a time, but the support does not end at the end of the campaign, it's forever.
For our family, they raised money for my family to experience an amazing trip to Disneyland during my daughter's leukemia treatment. Although it was beyond amazing and provided memories to last a lifetime, it's not just about the trip. We've gained so much more from being involved with One at A Time. We couldn't be more grateful.
Amazing charity, but even more amazing work being done through this charity. So many smiles and happy families.
My friends family the wall Ases received a Disney cruise from you guys. A little magic from the magical kingdom is just what they need. Thank you so much for everything you guys do.
5 stars isn't enough for One at a Time!! Absolutely the best Charity! The way OAAT helps the kids and their entire family is amazing, but it goes further. They have brought so much to lives of the volunteers and to the communities as well! They are honest and transparent and are genuinely in this to better lives!
There just isn’t enough space. This charity focuses on one child at a time but includes the whole family. If you make a donation and they are unable to use it for the child it was donated towards due to unforeseen circumstances they notify you and ask if you would like a refund or ask how you would like them to use it. Full disclosure. They are supreme and full of compassion.
One At A Time has been an absolute blessing to our family. My little cousin, Emily, was diagnosed with leukemia in November, 2016, at age 3. Since then she has been receiving ongoing chemo treatments, fighting like a champion to stay healthy, but unfortunately still spending way too many days/nights secluded in a hospital room. Throughout Emily's journey, she was introduced to this AMAZING non-profit organization called One At A Time. They recently made her their first sponsor child of 2018 and raised enough money to send Emily and her parents to Disneyland! The amount of support that Emily has received from One At A Time has been truly amazing and we will forever be grateful for all of their hard work and dedication they have given to our family. Emily and her mom and dad will make so many wonderful memories together at Disneyland that will last them a lifetime. We owe it to the heroes at One At A Time for making this possible. From all of Emily's family here in Nebraska, we thank you!
I have been to numerous events hosted by Brodi, Andrew, and the One At A Time crew. Their purpose drives them and creates engaging and passionate events. I always love seeing an organization with members who truly care about what they do. OAAT is an organization that everyone should support.
This organization doesnt just help children feel better, they bring them into there family. Every child that has been helped through out the years is still near and dear to the heart of every board memeber. The children from previous campaign continue helping and encouraging the children that are involved with Camapign One At A Time.
I have been honored to be a part of the OAAT team for over 2 years. I have watched us expand and learn immensely in these years. Each of our team members contribute so much of their time to make sure we make the best of OAAT. Our community has grown into new volunteers, new campaign children, and new members of our family. I cannot thank our supporters enough for all you have done for us. We wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spread kindness. Thank you for letting us become part of your family. Thank you for showing us there are so many wonderful people in this world. Thank you!
This is a great group of young, energetic, thoughtful and loving voluneers dedicated to helping out children one at a time. They really make a difference for these families. Check them out and donate to their causes. You won't be sorry!
They open their hearts and not just their pocketbooks!! They learn about each individual child and family and what they are going through. I have seen them in action up close and they are willing to go above and beyond for these kids and families!!!
These past 3 years building OAAT with this amazingly dedicated team and community off of a completely volunteer basis has truly been life changing. The fulfillment we receive from these children and families is beyond anything I've ever experienced before. I am so happy, proud, and honored to be apart of this team and I cannot wait to see what we do next. It means so much to me to not only get the upmost support from my hometown, but the fact that we have donors and volunteers across the United States coming together to impact these children's lives is just remarkable. It's also so inspiring to hear how people have taken the message of One At A Time and implimented it in their own daily lives to better themselves and the ones around them. To everyone who has supported, volunteered, or gotten in contact with us, thank you so much for helping this vision continue to become a reality!
Save a life. Change a life. One At A Time.
Truly, One of Thee Most Heart Felt. Genuine. Kind. Caring Group of Young Men and Women to Invest Their Time and Resources to a Cause.
How Lucky are We, to Share in Some Small Way a Part in Their Plight.. For the Betterment of Children. Truly Blessed.
What a wonderful team! They truly go above and beyond to help these beautiful children.
My name is Saira Barajas. I am one year cancer free and am a volunteer for One At A Time. OAAT has given me so much. From a motive to keep moving forward, the courage to be strong and help others when they need it most, to giving me a daily reminder of what I had to go through with my cancer and how luck I am to wake up every morning. I love working with OAAT and meeting new people, making new friends. Everyone we work with becomes part of the OAAT family.. and there's no changing that! All
Of us at OAAT have a story, a motive, a passion... and OAAT brings us together and we use all our motives as a team; for the better of others.
Campaign One at a Time is an amazing nonprofit, that really cares. Volunteering for them has been a wonderful experience and I'm so excited to see what they do next!
I am a Board Member and Marketing Director (voluntarily) of Campaign One At A Time. I love the team I work with as well as the children and families we help. I've had multiple instances where the impact of our work was driven home. The families we've worked with have all shared their appreciation for what we do. But the most impactful time was when we lost the second child we had worked with to Leukemia. The family had our core team of four come to the hospital the day before she passed and we continued to spend time with the family and support them all the way through the memorial. What we do makes such a big difference in the lives of the children and families we work with and I am honored to continue our mission of making this world a better place, one child at a time.
