Being part of their outreach program as a volunteer here in the Philippines is one of my greatest achievement. It really feels good to see the genuine happiness of the kids while receiving one if their wishes (gift). Working with Campaign One At A Time was an incredibly fulfilling experience. My wife and I were introduced to Campaign One At A Time (OAAT) and Brodi when we first met #SUPEREMILY, whom we were sponsoring as our "Warrior Kids for Warrior Horses" recipient. We very much enjoyed the happiness and joy our miniature horses (and the rest of our menagerie, as well as our 94 yo Mom, aka "Nana") brought to Emily and made her forget, if even for only one day, her reality with fighting cancer. When Emily and her mom, Angie, Told us about their experience with OAAT, we knew we had to get involved. It's been a few years now and we've helped support many OAAT children battling life-threatening disease and have helped provide them their "dream" to bring some joy into their lives. We have come to love each and every one of the OAAT kids and their family members and am amazed at what Brodi and his staff have done for so many. They truly have left each OAAT kid with memories to last a lifetime, and each one has taken a place in our hearts along the way, as well as becoming part of our family. I've only been volunteering at Campaign OAAT for a couple of months, but in such a short span right away, I was able to see how dedicated everyone on the team is to helping kids with life-threatening illnesses. One at a time blessed our family with a fundraiser to send our daughter to Disney world after she beat cancer. Within a couple of weeks it was fully funded and literally within a month of hearing about it we were on our way to Disney. They took care of everything from travel planning to park tickets, and even gave us some advice about what to do when there. They literally made gave our daughter the trip of a lifetime and we can’t thank them enough.
OAAT is an amazing nonprofit! They are focused on the children fighting cancer and their families. They show support in many different ways such as a moms tribe, warrior care bags, bereavement and making DREAMs happen for current children. I became aware of Campaign One At A Time (OAAT) because my parents are involved with the organization and I'd hear their stories of the kids they were meeting and helping to achieve their dreams. It sounded so wonderful and I loved how personal Brodi and my parents became with some of the kids they supported. After doing some research, I found out that the company whom I work for, Nordstroms, has a matching program. This prompted me to enroll as a monthly donor to OAAT. Even though I live in Seattle, I hear all about the stories from my parents and I love how intimate the entire organization is with each child, their family members, and all of the volunteers and employees. Campaign One At A Time made a dream come true for our family. My 5-year old daughter has been battling cancer for over and year and OAAT West campaigned to rise funds to send her to Disneyland once treatment is over! We could not be more grateful for the generosity of OAAT and their mission to improve the lives of our fighters! ️
I found Campaign One At A Time doing research online while our family was struggling with various concerns in our lives. Our son was on 3.5 years daily chemotherapy and we wanted to make every moment special for him. Brodi and his non profit provided our family with a priceless gift. Our son wanted a weekend beach getaway. The beach is his sacred place. Last minute we pleaded with his grandma who was a 9/11 survivor diagnosed with a terminal rare ovarian cancer that relapsed three times to accompany us. Boy are we ever glad we did. She was on treatment and not feeling well but gathered all her strength to come with us. She had a phenomenal time. Even though the first night she stayed in the room not feeling well, the night before we left she came out to sit with us on the beach and looked so at peace. So much so that she decided this location to be her final resting place once she passed. One of her final wishes was to have her ashes spread there and so we did. It is a bittersweet memory that we will never forget, just like 9/11. Also a special thank you to Houndstown USA who donated to a majority of the fundraiser to make the trip possible! Campaign One At A Time is truly amazing! They have done so many wonderful things for my son, James who has leukemia. They constantly strive to make kids happier during the tough time they are facing.
Campaign One At a Time has blessed our family several times over the last year. My son, Thatcher (5) has stage 4 Neuroblastoma and has been in active treatment for the last 15 months. COAAT held a campaign to have a magician do a personal magic show. Due to the pandemic the magic show could not happen in person but Thatcher was able to Zoom with a real magician multiple times, developing a friendship. COAAT also provided our family with meals the day of the magic shows and included Thatcher and his brother Gideon in their annual Christmas toy gifts. COAAT has been a bright spot several times for our family during what has been a very challenging time. We are so grateful for them!
My family has been so blessed by, and is so grateful for, this organization. My daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer at 2 months old and she just turned 3 this past October. The journey of a medically fragile family is a long and lonely one, but organizations like this help so incredibly much. This year, they helped to supply my children with Christmas presents and we are so grateful.

Our heroic Maximilian was diagnosed with brain cancer at 3 1/2 years old. He had brain surgery and completed 2 years of treatment. His condition is considered stable, but he currently requires an MRI every four month for monitoring. His identical twin, Alexander is his biggest supporter, rooting for him to beat cancer. We heard about Campaign One At A Time (COAAT) from another family with a child fighting cancer. COAAT had a simple online form that allowed Max to submit some of his favorite things and wishes. He included the full gamut, from meeting a domesticated fox to throwing out the first pitch at a New York Yankees baseball game. Like any child, he loves to dream, only his hopes also include a victory in his battle against cancer. Max and Alex are looking forward to celebrating their 9th birthday together in December and many, many, many more to come!

I'm very very cautious about who I donate the money that has been entrusted to me to, and I NEVER worry about cheerfully giving to what OAAT is doing. I have total confidence that they are making the best use of the monies donated, but more importantly they are giving of themselves to these children and their families.

Whether in the hospital or at home, the organization asks the child what they would like to help bring a smile to their face and joy in their hearts. Even in this time where they cannot do one on one visits, they have arranged virtual activities and visits from special people and/or characters. I am impressed with what the volunteers accomplish.

They have also teamed up with other amazing people like -Art Heals- to create Free Virutal art classes for kids, which I loved. This organization is wonderful! They helped raise money for my nephew who is battling stage 4 cancer. They personally came to our small city of Stockton to here is story. They volunteered with us cutting hair and feeding the homeless. This volunteer group is called Love Thy Neighbor and it's the vision of the young man Cameron Harris-Brown (the one fighting stage 4 cancer). He wanted to help those and need, and Campaign One At A Time helped him reach his goal of raising money for a non profit license. They continue to support our community everyday in any way they can. We are truly greatful to this organization.
I'm personally inspired everyday by all the children they help. They put a smile on the faces of families. Most of these children are fighting life-threatening illnesses and they need something stronger than any medicine to keep them fighting. Hope. That's what this organization does. It brings hope to families going through something most of us would never understand. This organization reminds those little ones and their families that your community is here for them. This organization reaches those in need both near and far. And above all, this organization inspires all of us! If we all give a little to those in need we can change a life. Maybe even save a life!

Amazing time working with OAAT on their campaign in the Philippines. The whole team is incredibly caring and work incredibly hard to positively impact as many people as possible. Aside from the community they support - they have also built a culture of compassion, authenticity, and integrity within their team. I found One At A Time through a friend and had the chance to attend one of their fundraisers last year. The event was an art auction featuring local artists and was fun, well done, and had great food/drinks. I met the people behind the scenes of OAAT, even the founder Brodi, and saw how deeply they care about the children they serve. It was moving to learn the stories of the kids and families they help with their campaigns, and how much care OAAT staff puts into getting to know the families. I have watched these beautiful humans build an organization from the ground up. Not only have I seen differences made in children’s lives, but you can tell that it brings hope, love, and more understanding to children with illness. This organization deserves to be recognized at the highest level possible; they are doing amazing work to help this world.
I was first introduced after my cancer diagnosis at age 17. I quickly learned how amazing their group of individuals were and what kindhearted things they were doing. Soon after I was considered in remission I filled out a volunteer application and since then try to help when I can. They are amazing and do wonderful things for kids and their families battling cancer. They truly know how to shed some light on a tough situation. They make the entire family feel supported! I am so glad to now be their blog writer and help spread the word of what great things they do.
We first learned of this organization during their Taylor Lee campaign. Our entire community came together for her and learning the impact that COAAT had on her family and their journey was inspiring. We have supported them now through several campaigns and will continue into the future!
I came from an outside group to help put on a princess party to send a young girl with cancer to Disneyland. It was amazing to see how OAAT brought the whole community together to support this family and send them on the vacation of a lifetime. I have seen them do it time and time again. Our friends daughter, Avalynn Hope Wallace, has been very ill with AML leukemia and because One At A Time stepped up they were blessed with some joy and peace in such a chaotic time. They truly are God sent. It just brings my heart so much joy to see and hear Avalynn smiling through this process and knowing One At A Time non profit played a big part in that.

They brought princesses, room decorations, raised enough money for us to go on a Disney cruise and park our trailer at the ocean near the hospital.

One at a time is such a special nonprofit! They dedicate so much of their life to making sure these kids get to experience everything that kids should. Being involved is a great feeling and the kids are so special and kind while going through so much. One at a Time really makes you feel a personal connection with the kids and their journey.
Campaign One at A Time helps kids with cancer cope in ways that are truly exceptional. They don't just give a gift and walk away, they get to know the child, the family, they BECOME family. They hang out, provide support. They come to medical procedures. They come to soccer games. They worry when we worry about fevers and bad news. They cheer on first days back to school and end of treatment dates and lost teeth (the normal childhood kind of lost teeth) and many other milestones that could fill this page.
Campaign One at A Time provides support that is TRULY from the heart at a time when a family is experiencing something that is FAR from normal. They support one family at a time, but the support does not end at the end of the campaign, it's forever.
For our family, they raised money for my family to experience an amazing trip to Disneyland during my daughter's leukemia treatment. Although it was beyond amazing and provided memories to last a lifetime, it's not just about the trip. We've gained so much more from being involved with One at A Time. We couldn't be more grateful.

5 stars isn't enough for One at a Time!! Absolutely the best Charity! The way OAAT helps the kids and their entire family is amazing, but it goes further. They have brought so much to lives of the volunteers and to the communities as well! They are honest and transparent and are genuinely in this to better lives!
There just isn’t enough space. This charity focuses on one child at a time but includes the whole family. If you make a donation and they are unable to use it for the child it was donated towards due to unforeseen circumstances they notify you and ask if you would like a refund or ask how you would like them to use it. Full disclosure. They are supreme and full of compassion.
One At A Time has been an absolute blessing to our family. My little cousin, Emily, was diagnosed with leukemia in November, 2016, at age 3. Since then she has been receiving ongoing chemo treatments, fighting like a champion to stay healthy, but unfortunately still spending way too many days/nights secluded in a hospital room. Throughout Emily's journey, she was introduced to this AMAZING non-profit organization called One At A Time. They recently made her their first sponsor child of 2018 and raised enough money to send Emily and her parents to Disneyland! I am a Board Member and Marketing Director (voluntarily) of Campaign One At A Time. I love the team I work with as well as the children and families we help. I've had multiple instances where the impact of our work was driven home. The families we've worked with have all shared their appreciation for what we do. But the most impactful time was when we lost the second child we had worked with to Leukemia. The family had our core team of four come to the hospital the day before she passed and we continued to spend time with the family and support them all the way through the memorial. What we do makes such a big difference in the lives of the children and families we work with and I am honored to continue our mission of making this world a better place, one child at a time.
