Mission: Camp Quality Heartland was organized in 1994 to address the needs of children with cancer and their families. CQH is a year round support system and summer camp provided free of charge to each child and their siblings and provide a week of respite to their caregivers. Camp Quality is a place where "kids can be kids again". Each child is assigned a specially trained adult companion who will support the child during the camp and continue support throughout the year. CQH also provides for each family, special activities where they can share with other families who are experiencing cancer, receive support from each other, find avenues of encouragement and, gain hope for the future. Camp Quality is all about hope. Camp Quality Heartland is one of 13 Camp Quality's in the United States. They are also established around the world.
