I became involved in Camp Fire when my daughter was in second grade, at which time I joined the board,
we are both still involved after 36 years. We are working with three groups now. I feel the organization has much to offer the children of our area I am sorry more are not taking advantage of the opportunity. My daughter and I like the small groups. Children can make friends and get positive interaction with adults and peers. We plan a camp once a year for any clubs in the Central Coast area who wish to attend. I think everyone has a good time, learns how to cooperate and make new friends.

I have been involved with this organization as a young child. When my three daughters became school age I searched out Camp Fire to give them the best experience that I remember as a child. All three went through the program and learned many wonderful experiences and community values. After volunteering as their leader for years I now work for Camp Fire and share the joy of Camp Fire with other children in our community. Camp Fire has been part of our family for over 50 years. It is my pleasure to watch children grow with in Camp Fire and become leader's in our community. Camp Fire has supported them in their way of learning, experiences and nature. I believe in Camp Fire and its values. All children need to fill free to acheive there goals and be successful in what ever direction they decide. Camp Fire allows them to be come caring, confident youth and they are the future leaders of our world.

Everywhere I go I meet someone who has been in Campfire....This organization has a long history of serving youth in a positive and empowering way. Locally, on the Central Coast I have experienced first hand how Camp Fire can make a difference. As a leader, as a volunteer and as an avid ambassador tor the great programs offered. There is something for everyone in Campfire...clubs, camps, service to community and lots of fun silly songs!
This is the organization I choose to invest in our youth's future. Join me!
