Mission: Camp aldersgate creates life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs, enabling them to expand their worlds and express their unique voices.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 341 children with and without special needs.
Programs: Camp Aldersgate provides life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs, enabling them to expand their worlds and express their unique voices. Summer Medical Camps provide a week-long camping experience to children with medical diagnoses such as muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, diabetes, cardiac conditions, kidney or bleeding disorders, asthma, arthritis, and cancer. Kota Camps are offered to children with special needs and a non-disabled friend or sibling. Weekend Camps enable children with special needs to experience traditional camp activities over a weekend once a month from September to May. Camp Aldersgate also provides senior adults in central Arkansas an opportunity to socialize and participate in activities once a week from August to May.
