Mission: TO AID PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PEOPLE.
Programs: Camelot is an education based riding program for children and adults with disabilities. Certified riding instructors teach approximately 20 to 30 riders per week on an individual basis. Additionally, the program serves 40 to 50 nonriders through disability awareness training programs. Students who are enrolled in the program learn all aspects of riding, carriage driving, and horse care. Riders see improvements in muscle tone, flexibility, motor planning, and coordination in addition to improved self esteem and social skills. All services are free of charge as they have been since inception in 1983.
