Mission: The cambodian village fund is a charity solely for the purpose of collecting money to be disbursed to families in villages in cambodia. The funds are used to enhance the education, and educational opportunities, of the families.
Programs: Build and refurbish schools in prey touch commune, cambodia. Completed construction of 1 new school building--brian dean learning center at prey touch primary school. Completed major repairs to floor at kaun khlong primary school. Provided materials for library at dob krorsang primary school. Added fans and lights to dob krorsang primary school and prey touch secondary school. Added gravel for grounds at prey touch secondary school, prey touch primary school and dob kaorsang primary school. Provided outdoor lights for kaun khlong primary school.
scholarships for middle school, high school and university students. The cambodian village fund provided scholarships to 28 girls and 1 boy. High school and university scholarship students receive room, board, tuition, tutors, laptop computers, cell phones, uniforms, english language classes, eye care, and dental care. Seventh through 10th grade students receive a bicycle, allowance, school uniforms, english language classes, books and school supplies.
english language program. The cambodian village fund provides english language classes for about 250 students in grades 3-12. Four teachers teach 2 classes each, 5 days a week for a total of 40 classes per week. All of our scholarship students are required to take english language classes.
constructed soccer (football) stadium for prey touch commune at prey touch secondary school. The stadium is 56 meters by 34 meters, with lights, 5-layer seating with a metal roof, artificial turf, goals, 2-level net system and drainage.
