Mission: Our mission is to help Northwest Indiana residents spay and neuter their pets safely and affordably.
Programs:
Calumet SNAP offers a voucher program to low-income pet owners. Northwest Indiana residents receiving Unemployment, Social Security, SSI, TANF, WIC, Section 8 or other public aid can receive a voucher good for a spay/neuter surgery and pain medication. We'll also pay for rabies vaccination, flea treatment, and nail trim if needed. Voucher recipients pay only a $20 copay to Calumet SNAP. People interested in a voucher can contact us at P.O. Box 235, Hammond, IN 46325, by toll-free voicemail at 877-819-3300 or by email at calumetsnap@gmail.com.
