Mission: California trout was established in 1971 for the purpose of undertaking programs and activities to conserve and enhance the wild trout and their natural habitat within california. Additionally, california trout gathers funds to finance charitable, scientific and educational research projects, and to preserve and rehabilitate public trout and steelhead fisheries in california.
Programs: California trout foundation is the sister organization of california trout, inc. (fein 23-7097680) which, like the foundation, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. The foundation holds title to conserved-land properties. There has been no financial activity within the foundation for over ten years.
