Mission: Create and publish educational materials & conduct professional development.
Programs: Sierra institute- patterns, proportions and processes: 1) created curriculum, planned, and implemented a 6-day residential professional development teacher institute in the sierra nevadas. Enrolled 35 teachers. Teachers had the ability to use the institute for professional development credits through fresno state college 2) shared feedback and attendee created standard-based curricula with all to use in their classes/education programs. Included a second 3 day program of camping and learning about the natural history of yosemite during the week between the institute weekends with 12 attendees.
