The CA Hepatitis C Task Force and it's critical initiatives and projects have been providing meaningful internship opportunities for the University of San Francisco's graduate students in our School of Nursing and Health Professions. Serving as fully incorporated members of the Task Force team, our students learn and serve by contributing to research, collaboration, education, and advocacy. We're honored to be a partner of the CA Hepatitis C Task Force'.
Bill Remak is one of the most well informed and helpful people I know in the area of viral hepatitis. His list of contacts and resources is very impressive. I run a non-profit for viral hepatitis way up here in the hinterlands of Northern California - he has been helpful, supportive, and generous with his time. He shares what he has and welcomes new input. He deserves every accolade that comes his way! I chose "Gen. Public" below but have been running my non-profit since 2010....Local Area Support For Hepatitis (LASH), Redding CA
Gained a lot of knowledge of viral hepatitis prevention. Very grateful for this nonprofit and that amazing work they do!

I came across the Global Immunization Action Network Team (GIANT) page due to my research on vaccine hesitancy. GIANT posts some real insightful research papers on the cause of vaccine hesitancy and the importance to deal with misinformation.
Humanitarian Spirit Is Always Felt At GIANT
This is a global humanitarian organization with a good environment to work in because it involves vulnerable people and operates on its vision and principles that govern its activities making it so easy to work with. It’s organized, and well established. Like any other society, it’s recognized by many people, trusted for its work of providing the relevant evidence based credible factual information about vaccines.
According to what am going through with Global Immunization Action Network Team (GIANT), confidence and courage developed in me. And indeed it raised my career in working experience. That's why I am now focusing at hitting all my targets. Traveling and learning new ideas from abroad is my first priority because I feel it in me and
whenever I think about that, it gives me a smile.
I worked with GIANT this summer after graduating with my bachelor’s in public health. I had a wonderful experience with this organization working closely with Noeen Malik, Executive Director of Public Affairs doing digital marketing. This was an area I wasn’t familiar with but Noeen helped trained me so that I could make their business outline booklet and other infographics for GIANT. Everyone works as a team in this organization and is very supportive of each other and their work, as feedback was always shared. Being a part of GIANT also gave me a different perspective of how COVID-19 is affecting other countries not just the US since it is a global organization and we worked to find more innovative ways to educate people on how to get vaccinated.
The California Hepatitis C Task Force is the organization hosting the Global Immunization Action Network Team (GIANT).
My experience as participate ( joineds ) in all events the GIANT Via zoom, And I will help you to make an even bigger impact in our community around the world now and in the future.
My story with this Non-profit has been so fulfilling. Being part of their Global Immunization Action Network Team has really helped in a time of a health crisis like a pandemic. Getting to know the true story of every region with Covid-19 by health workers, scientists and researchers has really opened my eyes to learn on what we are missing or doing right in our own region.
