My experience with the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project Inc. has exceeded my expectations. My son has been receiving speech therapy through this organization for several months and he has made great improvements. Not only has my son benefited from the therapy itself, but as a parent, I have learned the tools I needed to help him succeed. I am very grateful for this organization.

Genie from California-Hawaii Elks worked one-on-one with our daughter. Genie is a delightful lady, and our daughter blossomed under her care.

We adopted our child when he was 5 years old. He had a repaired cleft lip and an unrepaired cleft palate. We applied to California-Hawaii Elks Major Project to get our child speech services. We waited until his palate was repaired and healed for the services to begin.

We have been delighted with the results. Our child started out with very low language scores and obvious articulation problems. In the few years he has been receiving services his language scores have reached almost age level and his articulation is excellent. He is learning to self-correct his speech to become more independent.

Scheduling the weekly services can be a challenge when our work schedule changes. The therapist has been very flexible and sends work for us to do at home.
