Mission: We believe that it is our ethical duty to inform and educate the public about the potential hidden long-term health effects of cell phones and other radiation-emitting devices.
Even if we agree to disagree on the validity of current scientific studies, we ought to make the compromise that simple precautionary measures ensure global public health.
Results: CABTA was very involved in passing the SF "Right to Know" ordinance and received an honorable commendation from the SF Board of Supervisors. CABTA has appeared on numerous television shows and has testified before Congress multiple times. CABTA currently runs an educational safety program and a dream program.
This group does very little to assist people with brain tumors. Their main aim is to convince the public of the negative health risks of cell phone radiation (of which there is currently no thoroughly convincing evidence).
I was asked as a Board Member to leave a review about our nonprofit. My review is that CABTA is an exceptional organization with highly ambitious goals. We celebrate our past successes and look forward to a great new year of advocacy work protecting public health. Thank you all for your support!
CABTA was successful in the SF Right to Know legislation and is active in passing H.R. 6358, which has been introduced to the US Congress. It is legislation to examine, label, and communicate adverse human biological effects associated with exposure to electromagnetic fields from cell phones and other wireless devices, and for other purposes.
