The organization does public speaking to inform the community of the historical need to obtain and preserve the first aircraft used by admiral byrd for future generations. Infrastructure was developed to put together the necessary people and services to accomplish both of these goals.
Not really sure what this group is up to...I contacted them to see what the status of their recovery expedition was but could not get any answers. Their web site and Facebook page have now been taken down. It appears that the group has had one fundraising dinner and has a small amount of funds that have been donated. No 990 for 2011 or 2012
