It is with great pleasure to write a review about BFNS(By Faith Not Sight). They have been an extreme inspiration to the Grand Prairie community. If you meet them, you will never forget them because they are laborers indeed! Every year, their team visits our after school programs in order to teach the children motivational songs. The children love it! Their message is, "Regardless of your deficiences, you can still overcome." They spend so much of their time giving, encouraging, supporting, and working to help people from all walks of life...the sick, elderly, young, widowers, just to name a few. Nothing keeps them from helping to provide families with everyday necessities and, of course, a shoulder to lean on. The love they have for mankind permeates throughout the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas. Their non-profit organization is a ray of sunshine and we are so glad to have met them. Kudos to David & Shelia Turner, BFNS.
I have had the opportunity to be apart of this organization as a board member for 3 years. By Faith Not Sight has blessed many people, young and old. The founder of this organization is blind and has been dealing with many health issues for years, but he still find time to bless others dealing with health issues as well as their families.
We gave hug blankets and donated snack bags to seniors at Marado Senior Assisted Living facility and also donated water & juice to our local firefighters.
David and Shelia have given so much ch love and joy helping others. It’s amazing finding a place that cares and goes out of their way to help others. I’m so grateful for the beautiful, warm and very much needed blanket friends the organization. It gives me so much comfort. with love and support for each other. Despite David losing his sight and pain and suffering from gastroparesis, he never lost sight of caring for others in need and inspiring to believe in faith and not by sight. . He and Shelia are always there for others. Their organization cares for people and very inspirational and helping those in need. Their love for helping others and providing support and happiness gives a sense of comfort and blessings. I’m so grateful for By Faith Not Sight for giving me joy. May God continue his blessings for this caring organization. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
