Butterfield Stage Players is a community theater and has the unique distinction of being housed in a former Carnegie Library in historic South Gainesville, TX. Butterfield brings a variety of productions to the stage each year including our Season Shows, Artist Showcases where “art meets music”, children’s programming including Pony Express Players, Lights, Campers, Action summer acting camp for kids, and other special events throughout the season. The theater maintains an ambitious performance schedule in order to appeal to a broad audience. Several of the events are free of charge to make the arts accessible to all in our community.
