Butte County Local Food Network is the true epitome of a "grassroots" organization, except we don't grow grass, we grow food and support our community in growing food! They have provided hundreds of raised garden beds in our county, provide food to fire-ravaged communities, support home and community gardens, educate and have hands-on experience with compost, and much more! I have volunteered for more than 4 years and continue to be impressed by the far-reaching impact of BCLFN's efforts.

I grow seeds and seasonal plant starts to share especially with folks on the ridges that have been hard hit by multiple fires. I gave them to the market mobile person to drop off at plant stands, seeds swaps and to give away.
