Mission: Bushwick Helping Hands (HHCCC), founded in 1987, grew out of dire need to service those at high risk for homelessness. HHCCC is comprised of a group of people dedicated to providing transitional care for those in crisis (i.e. domestic abuse, AIDS victims, alcohol and drug abusers, runaway teens facing juvenile detention, immigrants, etc.) Additionally, a great deal of HHCCC's efforts is directed at empowering these at risk individuals by providing them with new skills to utilize throughout their rehabilitation.
