Mission: Bbc's mission is to empower citizens, and revitalize blighted and underserved communities. Organizational staff statement bbc is comprised of a dynamic staff of thirteen highly committed and capable community development practitioners led since 2000 by its executive director, timothy l. Tramble. Eight staff members serve in a full-time capacity, six of which have earned a master's degree in public administration, planning and development, architecture, or social work. Full-time staff members have been with the organization for an average of over six years and have been working in the community development field for more than seven years. Enterprise rose architectural fellow erick rodriguez has been working with bbc and detroit shoreway community development organization since january 2014. Programs: In the last six years bbc has significantly expanded its programming, initiating three social enterprises, successfully chartering the massive land assembly of the green city growers hydroponic greenhouse site and spearheading the urban agriculture innovation zone. Yet, we have also managed to develop and co-develop over 300 units of housing and built-out 4,183 square feet of retail space. We currently have 207 units of housing under development in addition to homes within the cmha-led central choice neighborhood plan. We seek to produce scalable change that extends beyond physical development. Collaborating with stakeholders, we aim to cast a wider web of physical and human development to build strong neighborhoods. We recognize strong neighborhoods cannot exist without healthy people within them. They cannot exist without exporting goods and services. Strong neighborhoods cannot exist without actively engaged and educated citizens, and strong neighborhoods cannot exist without assets of attraction. It is this realization that drove us to directly address health and wellness and gave us our entrepreneurial spirit. It is also why we now serve a formal role to our neighborhood schools and as a convener and conduit for wraparound services.
going forward bbc intends to build upon the momentum of our recent transformative revitalization measures, including both programmatic and physical components. The integration of green space development, real estate development, health and wellness programming, and social enterprise formation will continue to be a key strategy used to grow our neighborhood economy and strengthen social fabric. This proposal is support all of these services with a vehicle for stakeholders to work together to lift the poor out of poverty, learn how to navigate societal challenges, working through our differences, building social cohesion among all neighborhoods, have raw but respectful dialogue, and bound through positive entertainment.

arbor park place holding, llc- bbc is the sole member of this llc which is consolidated in these financial statements. It was formed to acquire, redevelop and manage arbor park place neighborhood retail center. With a diverse set of tenants in 7 units totaling 38,858 square feet of leasable space, arbor park place is an essential amenity to the central neighborhood and its residents. Maintaining the health of the center and the services it provides is necessary for the vitality of the central community. Therefore, in 2017 bbc facilitated the restructuring of the debt on the center, invested 265,000 into needed capital improvements and took on direct property management responsibilities.
